- Provost is versatile and enduring with the hand of an oiled leather. Provost is a top grain pure aniline leather which will have color variations from lot to lot and within the hides.
- Even though the oiled feel gives Provost the hand of a pull up leather it has the upholstering consistency of a pure aniline. Therefore, Provost will not have the drastic color changes within the furniture due to tight and loose upholstery applications.
- After dying, Provost hides receive a light coloring process, which gives them a mottled effect. Then a clear water based wax topcoat is applied for durability.
- Healed scares, scratches, neck, and belly wrinkles will be apparent throughout these hides.
- Since Provost is a pure aniline these hides will fade in prolonged sunlight.
- Average hide size- 55 sq ft.
