• Masquerade leather is a new type of aniline developed by a German tannery.
• Considered to be a pure aniline, Masquerade has color consistency within a lot and offers a smooth and lightly protected surface.
• Elegant yet durable, Masquerade is a perfect leather for any application that requires more durability than a traditional pure aniline.
• With supreme German technology, Masquerade enhances the spec of the leather and still maintains a natural look to the surface and the grain. Unlike micro pigments, Masquerade does not have pigment and will not look painted when you compare it to the traditional anilines. Masquerade hides are dyed for color and then a specific application id applied to the leather that enables Masquerade to have a soft touch with better color consistency than the traditional anilines.
• Masquerade is still considered to be a pure aniline leather with enhancement. Masquerade also has a light sauvage effect that adds depth to the leather.
• Expect healed scars, scratches, neck, and belly wrinkles will be apparent throughout these hides.
• Color variation should be expected from lot to lot.
• Average hide size- 55 sq ft.
